Fix w3 total cache 500 internal server error in WordPress

The issue w3 total cache 500 internal server error can be easily fixed. Please follow below steps to resolve the error:

  1. Remove the plugin w3 total cache by using FTP or cPanel in File Manager (you will find the plugin under the folder /wp-content/plugins/)
  2. restore the .htaccess file (if you don’t have original .htaccess file you can remove the previous code and replace it with below line of code in the .htaccess file (.htaccess file is available under the root folder where WordPress is installed).# BEGIN WordPress

when you face the w3 total cache 500 internal server error in WordPress you will receive error like

some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/bkfri/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

Solution

Go and download wp-config.php (you fill find this in the root WordPress Directory) file and removed these line from it.

Thats it and your website will be back to normal just upload wp-config.php back to the server and you are done.
